Spike Aerator

Spike lawn aerators function by stabbing the ground.  Some recent university studies have shown that the stabbing action of spike aerators may actually increase soil compaction.  Other studies have shown that spike aerators produce no difference at all.  Consumers should consider purchasing or renting core aerators instead.
